Choose your Miro setup
Choose the guide that matches the Miro setup page in your workspace. An existing connector keeps its setup flow, so you don't need to recreate it when the new flow becomes available.
- Use New setup when the page shows Connect, Set up indexing, and Review setup.
- Use Previous setup when the page shows a single form for the indexing app's credentials and company ID.
Compare the setup paths
Both paths use the same indexing requirements and board permissions. New setup also connects Miro tools through a separate authorization.

The custom app for indexing is not the tools connection. Creating or updating that app does not authorize Miro tools for every user.
