Onboarding

New setup

You're on a new Glean deployment, created on or after August 14th, 2026. One guided setup authorizes Notion's MCP server, so read and write tools work right away, and collects your indexing credentials, so org-wide search turns on once the first crawl completes.

Previous setup

You're on an existing Glean deployment. If you're connecting Notion for the first time, keep the setup you have to manage credentials, choose retrieval modes, share pages, and tune the crawl.
