New Glean homepage: what's changed
Glean is rolling out a new homepage experience that streamlines how you start work in Glean without taking away any core functionality. The new homepage brings search and chat into a single entry point, proactively recommends personalized next steps, and introduces a dedicated company tab.
During the rollout, it's expected that users in the same organization will temporarily receive different homepage experiences.
Key differences compared to the previous homepage
1) One place to start: unified search + chat
Before: Search and Chat were separate tabs/modes.
Now: The homepage centers on a single entry point where you can start with either search-style queries or chat-style prompts—without jumping between tabs. As you type keyword-focused queries, Glean will surface search results directly in the chat bar and include top results in the conversation after you hit enter.

2) Proactive, personalized recommendations
Before: The experience relied heavily on static, one-size-fits-all sections.
Now: You'll see dynamic suggestion cards that proactively recommend next steps based on what's relevant right now—surfacing meeting prep, open action items, active discussions, company announcements, and more.

3) Clearer separation of "Company" content
Before: Company-wide resources and personal work signals were more mixed across homepage widgets.
Now: A dedicated Company tab in the top-right separates company resources and updates from your personal starting point. Admins can manage what appears here, including announcements and recommended agents for their organization.
What's not changing
Core functionality isn't going away—this update simply streamlines how users get started in Glean while keeping existing capabilities intact.
Admins: rollout and opt-out options
Admins can opt out of the early rollout using the homepage toggle in Admin Console → Appearance, if it's available in your environment. Turning this off excludes your organization from the early rollout, but it will not prevent the new homepage from becoming the default experience in a future release.
