Get notifications when Glean Assistant completes long-running queries

Glean now supports browser notifications for Glean Assistant responses in Chat. When a user receives a reply in Chat and the Glean tab isn’t in focus, a notification will appear, allowing the user to click and jump directly back into the exact thread. This feature helps users stay engaged with long-running queries and ensures they never miss a response.

How to access: Notifications require the user to opt in twice—once in Glean and once in their browser and the user must also enable browser notifications at the OS level on Mac or Windows. The user can turn off notifications at any time via the Preferences tab in their settings page.

You can now subscribe to Glean release notes via an RSS feed. RSS feeds can integrate with Slack, email, or other subscription tools to notify you when our release notes are published.
