Issue:

• The proxy is reachable and the hostname resolves, but a connection to the endpoint could not be established.

Resolution:

• Verify that the endpoint is up and accepting connections on the expected port.
• Check firewall rules to ensure the proxy VM is allowed to reach the endpoint.
• Confirm that the port number configured for the datasource instance is correct.
