Issue
- We were unable to fetch GitLab projects using the access token that was provided.
Resolution
Verify Token Scope
Verify that the token includes the read_api scope. If the token is missing this scope or has expired, generate a new token.
After creating the new token:
- Navigate to the GitLab connector setup page in Glean.
- Enter the new token and save the configuration.
- Revalidate to confirm the error is resolved.
Allow Glean Access to GitLab
Glean may not be able to connect to the GitLab instance due to networking restrictions. Allowlist the IP addresses of your Glean project on your GitLab instance.
