  • The Glean application cannot access Microsoft Teams online meetings and transcripts

Root Cause:

  • Microsoft requires configuring an application access policy for applications to access meetings and transcripts
  • Without this policy, even with the correct API permissions granted, the application cannot access online meeting content

Resolution:

To resolve this issue, you need to configure an application access policy for your Glean Teams application. Please refer to the Teams setup instructions in the admin console, specifically the section “Configure access policy to access online meetings”.
