MCP_DCR_NOT_SUPPORTED
Issue
The MCP server doesn't support Dynamic Client Registration (DCR). Glean didn't find a registration endpoint, so it couldn't create an OAuth client for the server automatically. This usually happens with a custom MCP server whose Authentication method is Dynamic Client Registration.
Resolution
Try another authentication method that the server supports. Go to Admin console → Platform → Tools, open the MCP server, and change Authentication method. The server's documentation lists the methods it accepts. See Authentication methods.
If you added the server from Browse built-in servers, or you're setting up a connector in Admin console → Platform → Connectors, Glean expects the server to support DCR. This error usually means that the server's provider changed its sign-in setup, and the setup page might not offer another authentication method. Contact Glean Support so Glean can update the server's setup. If the setup page has an Authentication method field, you can switch to another method in the meantime.
