MCP_DCR_REDIRECT_URI_REJECTED

Issue

The MCP server's authorization server rejected Glean's callback URL during Dynamic Client Registration (DCR). The server only registers clients whose redirect URI is on its allowlist.

Resolution

Choose one option:

• Ask the server's admin to allow the callback URL that the error message shows, then click Initiate connection again. If you're setting up a connector in Admin console → Platform → Connectors, click Connect again instead.
• Set up the OAuth client manually. Create an OAuth client for the server, set Authentication method to OAuth, and enter its client ID and client secret. See Authentication methods.

If you added the server from Browse built-in servers, or you're setting up a connector in Admin console → Platform → Connectors, contact Glean Support. Glean can ask the server's provider to add Glean's callback URL to its allowlist, which fixes the error for every customer.
