TOOLS_OAUTH_SITE_NOT_GRANTED
Issue
When you connected a tool, you didn't grant Glean access to the site that your Glean connector uses. This happens if:
- You selected a different site on the app's authorization screen.
- You didn't select any site.
- Your account doesn't have access to the connector's site.
The error names the site that Glean needs, for example:
Glean needs access to acme.atlassian.net. Select that site on the Atlassian authorization screen, then try again.
Currently, this error occurs only when you connect Jira or Confluence.
Resolution
- Select Connect again.
- On the app's authorization screen, select the site named in the error, then approve access.
If the site isn't in the list:
- Make sure you're signed in to the account you use for that site. If you're signed in to a different account, sign out of the app and connect again.
- Ask the app's admin to give your account access to that site.
Jira and Confluence
On the Atlassian authorization screen, select the site named in the error, then select Accept.
If the site isn't in the list, ask your Atlassian admin to give your account access to Jira or Confluence on that site.
If Atlassian skips the site selection screen, remove Glean from your Atlassian account's connected apps in Atlassian account settings. Then connect again.
