Library

Library

Library is a dedicated place where you can browse, search, and revisit the content you create and save in Glean. It brings your work into one place so you can quickly find what you need without scrolling through old conversations.

You can use Library to:

  • Reopen a document you created last week
  • Find a slide deck or image you want to reuse
  • Search for a shared interactive page
  • Review the content you created recently before a status update or 1:1 meeting
note

Library replaces Content in the left navigation.

Filter content by type

If Library contains a lot of content, use filters to narrow the list by type.

For example, you can filter Library when you want to:

  • Find only slides for a presentation you created earlier
  • Review only images generated for a project
  • Focus on interactive pages or apps you want to reuse
  • Look only at documents or messages you recently drafted

Search Library

Use search in Library to find a specific item.

Search is useful when you:

  • Remember part of a title
  • Know the kind of content you are looking for
  • Want to quickly return to something you created earlier

Find content shared with you

Library is not limited to content you created yourself. It also helps you discover content that other people have made available to you.

You may see:

  • Content shared with you, which someone shared directly with you or with a group you belong to
  • Public content, such as collections, announcements, answers, Go Links, and pins, can be shared with your organization and discovered by other people at your company. Content created in Glean does not appear in Library unless it is shared directly with you.

This makes Library useful both for finding your own work and for discovering reusable content from teammates.
