The Glean calendar search action allows you to search and retrieve events from supported calendars and perform tasks based on scheduled events. This action supports Google and Outlook calendars.

Configuration

Prerequisites

  • Before you can set up the calendar search action, you need to have data crawling and indexing set up for either the Outlook or Google Calendar connectors. Once those are enabled, proceed to using the Glean calendar search in Agents.

Enable calendar search in an agent:

  1. Select Chat from the left-hand navigation.
  2. Select Agents.
  3. Create an agent.
  4. Select the step of an agent.
  5. Search for or select the Calendar Search action.
  6. Provide a natural language input (e.g., “Search for my next meeting with John”) or a search operator input (e.g., after:now before:2025-04-29).
