Agent Library
The Agent Library in Glean is a central place where you can browse, find, manage, and launch the software agents that support your daily work. These agents are digital tools designed to automate tasks, provide information, or improve your productivity in specific ways. The library organizes all available agents and makes it easy for you to discover the ones most relevant to your needs.
If your organization uses Glean and has enabled the Agent feature, you can use the Agent Library. It’s built for anyone in your company who needs to access agents to get their work done, whether you’re in a business, technical, or support role.
You can use the Agent Library to quickly find and start using agents that help with your particular tasks. Rather than searching through a crowded list, you can rely on features like personalization, filters, and categories to highlight the agents that matter most to you. The Library also makes it easier to discover new agents that might be useful for your role or projects.
Access the Agent library
To get started:
- Open Glean’s main interface.
- Click on the “Chat” tab in the left navigation bar
- Look for the “Agents” link below the “New Chat” button.
- Click on it to open the Agent Library, where you can view, search for, and launch agents that your organization has made available.
- If you don’t see the Agent Library, your admin may need to enable it or assign you the appropriate role.
Once inside the Agent Library, you can:
Browse Agents
You can scroll through the list of available agents. The library organizes agents so it’s easier to view the ones most relevant to your work. You can filter the agents by the trigger type or by agent creator name or department.
Search for Agents
If you’re looking for something specific, use the search bar to quickly find an agent by name, or description
Personalize Your View
You can make use of personalization features to highlight agents that are most useful to you. Click on the heart icon on agent to add it to your favorite agents list for quick future access.
Launch Agents
Once you’ve found the agent you want, select or click on it to launch. From there, you can interact with the agent as needed—whether that’s automating a task, gathering information, or supporting your workflow.
Workflow Tips
- Agents that you create or favorite will also appear underneath the chat box in Glean Chat.
- If you can’t find an agent, check with your organization admin. Each agent has its own set of permissions for who can access it.
The Agent Library is designed to help you quickly find and use the tools you need—making it easier and more efficient to get support from agents throughout your workday.
