The billing credits dashboard gives you visibility into how your organization consumes FlexCredits over time. You can review overall usage trends, break down consumption by feature, and export data for your own reports.

Access the billing credits dashboard

Prerequisites
  • You must have one of the following roles:
    • Super admin
    • Billing Moderator (if enabled in your deployment)
  1. In Glean, open the Admin console.
  2. Select Credits to open the billing credits dashboard.
If you do not see the billing credits dashboard, contact a super admin at your company.

Overview metrics

At the top of the dashboard you can see:
  • Current balance — The number of FlexCredits available right now.
  • Total used in contrat period — The number of FlexCredits consumed in the selected date range.
Use these metrics to check whether your usage is on track with your contract.

View feature-level credit consumption

The billing credits dashboard surfaces granular, feature-level credit consumption so you can see which capabilities drive the most usage. To explore feature-level usage:
  1. In the billing credits dashboard, locate the Usage by feature table or chart.
  2. Use the date range controls to choose the monthly period you want to review.
  3. If available, use filters to focus on specific features.
Use this breakdown to:
  • Identify which features drive the most FlexCredits usage.
  • Compare adoption across different AI capabilities.
  • Spot unexpected spikes in a specific feature area.

Filter and change the time range

  1. In the top-right corner of the dashboard, select the date range control.
  2. Choose a montly range.
The charts and tables update to reflect your selected period and filters.

Export billing usage data

If you need to share usage details with finance, procurement, or other teams, you can export the underlying data.
  1. In the billing credits dashboard, go to the Usage by feature table.
  2. Select Export.
  3. Choose your export format (for example, CSV).
  4. Save the file and open it in your preferred analysis tool.
Exports typically include:
  • Date
  • Feature area
  • FlexCredits consumed
  • Environment or instance (if applicable)
Use exports to reconcile invoices, forecast future usage, or combine Glean usage with other internal metrics.

Common questions

Why do I see new feature categories?

As new AI capabilities are added, new feature-level categories may appear so you can track their specific impact on FlexCredits usage. Older usage remains in your historical exports, but newer usage appears under the updated categories.

Why doesn’t the feature-level total match my contract total?

The billing credits dashboard focuses on usage. Your commercial contract may include additional terms (for example, minimums, overage pricing, or FlexCredits allocated to specific add-ons). If you have questions about how usage maps to billing, contact your Glean account team.
